The SS-2 Mud Logging Software is designed and developed on the basis of borrowing ideas from other many kinds of software from home and abroad, and learning the respective merits. This software is developed based on the Microsoft Visual Studio C + +6.0 systems, which can be run on the Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems etc. The software system has made full use of the object-oriented programming technology of C++ language, as well as the Windows 32 multi-tasking procedures, and the multithreading and the beautiful interface features, to make its easy to use, stability and maintainability greatly improved, and has made full use of the high performance of the computer hardware.
The system has the following features:
Flexible display: all the real time parameters and the display formats of the curves can be selected by the users;
Powerful functions: automatic wellsite condition identification and automatic switch over of corresponding screens to display;
Complete display terminal: the Display terminal system is relatively independent. Users can choose the screen to be displayed without affecting the work of front computer;
Curve records: a color printer is used for real-time parameter curve printing, replacing secondary meters;
Network function: the on-line system has made up a local network, providing great convenience to data sharing;
Warning function: audible and visual alarms are provided for special constructions such as bailing etc. or any anomaly of customer set-up parameters;
Remote transmission function: real-time data remote transmission function can be realized through means of satellite, microwave or dialing.
Black Box Function: it has increased the amount of information storage and improved logging service quality.
The SS-2 software is developed using the green software design development model. When using, the software can be run normally just by copying it to the corresponding computer without fussy installation process.
The SS-2 Mud Logging Software system is composed of DAP software,Server software,RTM software,RTG software and Data Processing software which is organically organized using the small scale LAN via TCP / IP protocol, completing various functions of mudlogging.
Real-time operating system: Data acquisition is completed by multi-tasking and real-time operating system, namely VxWorks. Data processing is completed in Windows system with good user interface. Modularized Design: Either conventional tools or imaging tools can be loaded dynamically because of dynamic link library. It is convenient to maintain and update software. Powerful Background Database: All logging data are managed by background database, so it is convenient to manage, inquire and playback logging files for user. Remote logging and monitoring: Through satellite communication or WAN, field logging data can be transmitted to the base real-timely, which makes the quick interpretation and monitoring be possible. Advanced Time-Depth Conversion: In the way of system time drived logging, Software utilizes the advanced arithmetic of time-depth conversion to ensure the integrity and the accuracy of data.
Acoustic and elastic waves are widely used in biomedical and geophysical subsurface imaging, as well as ultrasound
nondestructive testing and evaluation. In such applications, acoustic or elastic waves interact with targets and their
complex environments. The aim of acoustic and elastic wave imaging is to utilize the collected wideband
acoustic/elastic wave signals to arrive at high-resolution images of targets. Wavenology EL-IMG is a physics
based imaging software tool with a graphic user interface to obtain high-resolution acoustic and elastic wave images
from wideband signals, such as those collected by medical and structural ultrasound transducers, seismic sensors,
and sonar sensors. By using full-wave acoustic and elastic wave solvers, Wavenology EL-IMG can accurately
account for the multiple scattering effects of the environment and targets, thus obtaining high resolution in its images.
With the Wavenology EL-IMG graphic user interface, the user can design a best measurement configuration to
image the targets of interest. Both synthetic and measured wideband sonar, ultrasound and seismic data can be
directly utilized by the Wavenology EL-IMG package.
